If a games crashes at start, without doing anything - black screen -, and that you have checked that there was no improvmeent with the 3 speed hacks level, and sound on/off option, than please give me the game name
and i'll try to see why it didn't start.

IT'S MUCH EASIER TO DEBUG WITH ROMS CRASHING AT THE BEGINNING!
So don't talk about roms crashing later in the game Twisted Evil

THANK YOU Wink

Nice emu! I`m loving the options you put in!
Here`s some stuff I`ve tested so far with SNEmulDS 0.4 on a SupercardLite(MicroSD)
2 CRASHES so far.

SuperMarioWorld - Very nice & playable just a few layer problems & sound slightly stuttery.
Super Castlevania IV - Works good - enter name screen is jumpy - bad layer problems/graphics glitches for the first section with the bridge; levels after that are near perfect with minor graphical glitches.
Soul Blazer - CRASHES at start (black screen) all settings.
SuperMarioKart - Get Nintendo logo & jingle.. then CRASHES.
Super R-Type - Very nice & playable a few very minor graphic glitches & sound very slightly stuttery.

SMK won't work until Pilotwings works. They both use the same coprocessor, and games with coprocessors don't work.

I've been unable to get Earthbound to start in 0.4a, regardless of any changes to the default settings.

Tested a few roms so far, but only 1 that completely refused to start:
Super Punchout!! black screens at startup on every speedhack setting, sound on or off. No graphics, no sound. Nothing Sad

Glad to see development continue on; all that work is appreciated! SNEmulDS is going to be THE killer homebrew app for me! Very Happy

Tenchi Muyo: Game Hen boots up to a black screen no matter what options are used.

Illusion of Gaia as well.

Illusion of Time (German verson of Illusion of Gaia) worked in an older version (but very, very, very, very glitchy).
In the newest version the title screen loads, but you can't hit the start button.

Great news: Seiken Densetsu 3 works! I came to the Character select screen. But as far as the stroy begins, the game is very glitchy. Text was invisible.

Games that doesn't work at all:

Mystic Quest Legend (The game loads, but since a lot of graphical glitches you can't get even get past the Title screen)
Terrangima (freezes after Enix Logo)

Yoshi's Island (doesn't even start | white screen)
ChronoTrigger (Freezing at the loading screen where you have to press START)
Final Fantasy VI (doesn't even start | white screen)
Kirby's Dream Land 3 (Freezing at the loading screen where you have to press START)
Tales of Phantasia (German Patch | doesn't even start | white screen)
Super Demo World (SWM Hack | doesn't even start | white screen)

Things I have noticed at the newest version of SNEmulDS:
In the old version games were way too slow. Whatever, in the new version a lot of game are too fast. (110 % or else. It isn't that terrible, but it isn't perfect, either).
I still didn't get after the BGL auto setting mode. I pressed all the buttons, but all it does was changing to 0|1|2 and not farther.

That's enought for now. Keep up the good work!

This and Stunt Race FX use the Super FX coprocessor.

This and Kirby Super Star use the SA-1 coprocessor.

I notice that the location in your profile is set to Germany. Are you using (E) roms? If so, then the fact that the DS runs at 59.9 Hz while the Super NES (PAL version) runs at 50.0 Hz might be part of it. Does SNEmulDS have a PAL mode?

SNEmul does have PAL support

Terranigma DOES work, you just have to play with the speed hacks a bit. As does the US Illusion of Gaia, though it still randomly locks up.

Games that go to fast you need to turn on vblank.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S - Fuwa Fuwa Panic - It will show the first intro screen with certain speed hack settings, but always freezes after that.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S - Fuwa Fuwa Panic 2 - Black Screen.

Death and Return of Superman - Black Screen.

Final Fight 2/Final Fight 3 - Black Screen.

Super Bomberman 2/Super Bomberman 5 - With full speed hacks enabled, it will show the first screen, then freezes with a black screen. On other speed hack settings they just show a black screen.

Btw: Secret of Evermore is working now, it didn't in the old version. SNEmul has really improved a lot. I hope that Seiken Desetsu 3 will be fully playable in the near future.

@ tepples: Yeah, I'm from Germany. The problems isn't in all game I think. The game I was talking about was Super Mario World. It DOES run at 100 %, but then for about half a second it goes up a little bit and back to 100. It doesn't disturb the gameplay. Only the music sounds weird through that.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Get stuck on the title screen. You can hear music pass the title screen, but the images of the five crystal remains on screen indefinitely.

Final Fight 1 - Does not even start

Secret of Mana - The file load screen shows nothing but the forest background.

Kirby Superstar - Doesn't even load due to large memory.

Soulblazer - Does not even start.

Large roms are supported on both slot 2 and slot 1 devices. Kirby Superstar won't ever work because it uses the SA-1 chip. In fact, this very same fact was mentioned just 4 posts above you.
