Hello Everyone at Pocket Heaven!

SNEmulDS is an awesome emulator and I use it the most out of all my homebrew software and emulators! Unfortunately the emulator has stopped working on my cartridge since v0.5a2.

I am using a Ninjapass X9 Slot 1 cartridge (http://www.ninjapass.com/) with a Sandisk 2gb MicroSD card. The emulator itself loads fine and I can see all the games. When I click on a rom it loads, and then press the start button to load it. After that the DS freezes and the top screen shows a white screen, while the lower screen shows the usual emulator options for a running rom. At this point I can't select any of the options and the emulator is completely frozen.

I have already tried formatting my card and putting the emulator back on it but to no avail. I was hoping the release of 0.5b would fix this issue but it's still occurring. So some change to the emulator between 0.5a1 and 0.5a2 broke the emulator on my cart. If you could please find the issue and fix it I would be extremely gratefull! I love SNEmulDS, and I would really love to be able to use the latest version!

Whoops, I forgot to mention that in my previous post. But lol, yes. I have. Hehehe, I'm not quite that silly! Thanks alot for your suggestion though.

Anyone else have any ideas?

And going back to v0.5a1 still works for you, right? Or have all versions of SNEmulDS stopped working altogether?

Yes, the old version still works on my cart. I've patched and reloaded the newer versions several times on my cart. Even formatted it and still no luck. That's why I think perhaps some code change between v0.5a1 and v0.5a2 has broken the compatability with my cart.

I will try repatching the latest version and reformatting my card again to see if it works. But I've done it a few times before so I don't think it will work. It's a shame because I really want to try out the latest version!

Perhaps Archeide may know something he changed between versions Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 that could possibly cause issues on some cards? If you'd like any more information I can provide it.

Hi there. Very sorry about the late reply. I havn't been on my computer this weekend.

Anyway I tried the 0.4 version off your site, and yes it does work for me. I hope this helps you find the problem, and thankyou for taking the time to help me. Smile
