|

| I have the latest version of the emulator and everything runs fine. But I can not get it to save. I tried touching save sram and I also tried saving on the save states. Nothing works. I was wondering if it is my card (Neoflash Mk5) or am I doing something. Thanks for the help. |

The DLDI file for the MK5 is read-only. Because the MK5 is one of the N-card clones that also includes the DS-Linker, you can install the latest DS-Linker firmware, which will auto-patch the SNEmulDS.nds file with a build-in DLDI file that has full read/write capability. I don't think the MK5 has released a similar upgrade, so for now it appears that installing the DS-Linker firmware is your only option.
Also note that you must first save in-game and then tap the Save SRAM button for it to work (you can also go to the rom selection menu or close the DS lid, as both actions automatically save the SRAM). |

Actually the latest MK5 upgrade is exactly the same. I tried it with unpatched dsorganizer and it seemed to auto dldi patch it and write back to the card fine. _________________ releases.pocketheaven.com

| Ah, I'm behind the times then. In that case, simply upgrade your firmware to the latest version for the MK5 and you should be able to save fine. Savestates may or may not work, but the Save SRAM option should work at least. |

Yeah, I gotta say I'm astonished by how smooth and seamless the auto patching was. Too bad my MK5 has turned out to be unreliable in keeping saves (sometimes they just disappear), rendering it pretty much useless for anything but quick testing. _________________ releases.pocketheaven.com
