Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anybody has one of the older versions of snesDS? I use the old way of a passme and a flashcard and i can't find an older snesDS that supports using a flashcard. Does anybody have an older version supporting flashcards?
Thanks |

FCSR is a (read-only) FAT file system for traditional GBA cards. Search this board for FCSR. _________________ -- Where is he?

But with FCSR, the SuperDAT settings are still not applied, meaning that SNES DS will not run many games very well. I know I probably shouldn't be redistributing Loopy's work here, but as he took down the downloads for the older versions, I feel it can be forgiven.

Read the instructions file I added first. Note however that since you're using a NOR-based flashcart, you'll want to run snesDS.exe by itself rather than using make_nds.bat. The filesize limit also changes from 4 MB to 32 MB when using a NOR-based cart, allowing games like DKC and DKC2 to run (DKC3 still freezes though).
I'd recommend looking at SNEmulDS combined with the FCSR method though, as that should provide more accurate emulation for more games. There are instructions at the PHWiki article for SNEmulDS. |
