| Dunno where you got the heresay on the zelda mario thingy, but the rest is great enough news. Usually when a console is fresh you get out the gate a dozen to a few dozen people looking to make/are making games. This thing though has over 100 saying they're making stuff for it, are psyched, and have kits. That's huge. I wasn't in doubt about the system as it's no virtual boy (don't get me wrong love it, was a rare sort it never harmed), but it was getting odd looks by press which made me think a bit. I can't wait to see how the system is utilized. With proper use and coding skill which can be applied from the GBA due to similar cpu and api architecture it could be extrordinary. We now look at Wing Commander, Payback, V-Rally 3, Tony Hawk series and go damn...for gba that's sweet. Now imagine what an extra 90mhz of cpus and more audio, which is also cpu independant *has it's own so no GBA drag on cycles*...could do something f'n sweet! |

Well as far as what is written there, the touch screen is known info. The 2nd is so blurry it's outright dodgy. Got to call bullshit on the 2nd one. |

Here you want to see the DS in it's glory. Also confirmed to have a GBA port so you can do all your older games on it as well, so the GBA is gonna end up being shafted in a couple years I imagine, or be their cheapy line.
Go usa today. http://www.usatoday.com/life/lifestyle/2004-05-11-nintendo-ds_x.htm
Confirmed some great stuff there, some I knew, some I didn't. Seems it falls in line with N getting cheezed over that leaked spec sheet too as it helps validate it a bit more. |
