So, eh, new version of my NGP emulator.
Most games are a little faster thanks to speedhacks and you can now add a real bios (Use power button to turn "on/off" the NGP).
Dark Arms and a few others run full speed without the Z80.
Still no saving.
*Added speedhacks for a lot of games.
*Added emulation of batteries & sub battery.
*Added RTC alarm.
*Added power button (SELECT).
*Added D button (R) (check Doko Demo Mahjong).
*Fixed a couple of cpu bugs affecting Metal Slug 1 and a couple of other games.

"Graphical Errors" doesn't really help, I know that the girl at the start is missing a few sprites because of sprite multiplexing but otherwise I can't really see any (or did you push the D(ebug) button?). _________________ 0x5AB07A6E |

Actually, I was playing the translation. In the intro saying stuff about the translation, there was no text or backgrounds, just the card and the logo. _________________ Wanna watercool your computer? Just add a garden hose! Works best if pointed straight at the processor and power supply cable! |

I think they change the background color on each raster row or something like that. Not much to do about that on the GBA. The actual game seem playable though. _________________ 0x5AB07A6E |

thanx so very much. many games are actually fully playable without Z80!!
this emu could be the holy grail for the gba if the speed would increase |

About Flavor's Card Fighters Clash 2 translation:
Yes, in the intro I change the color at each raster row to hide/smooth the text scroller (like in most of my homebrew games on ngpc).
The game itself does the same for some screen backgrounds.

| It's getting there! Sonic Pocket Adventure is playable sorta without audio (z80), but that'll take a while - same goes for Pac-Man. |

The ability to use the Bios is more of a novelty than anything else (it also enables Puyo Pop to run), it allows you to "turn off" the console and boot into the Bios setup, setting time, timezone, alarm (working), NGP palette & checking the calender. But as I'm not yet emulating Flash it can't start games this way. _________________ 0x5AB07A6E |

What about Puyo Pop doesn't work with a high-level-emulated BIOS like VBA and NO$GBA use for GBA games? Or is it that other games don't call into the BIOS at all? _________________ -- Where is he?

To me, the music was the only reason to turn my NGP on without a game in it. |
