Idea for Multiplayer.
I do not know if you already played the game Kirby Super Star Ultra.
There is an option that allows download & play in two players play using the screen of only a DS .. ie, one ds only serve to control and watch in other ds.
I think this could be implemented in emulators DS ..
or it would be difficult?
In the case of emulators each use the emulator and the rom .. does not need to download & play. One of them being restricted to the controls.
It would be great to play classic mega drive 2players .. as a street of rage ... sonic 2 .. and others.
Thanks.
and apologize for google-English |

The problem with multiplayer on DS homebrew is more of an issue with the instability of the wireless connection than getting the screens to show an image of the emulator. _________________ I may not eat meat, but I have no "beef" with those who do. |

| In the case of emulators, the real problem would be the very slow DS wireless connection. It would be quite difficult to get the emulator to sync up on both systems at anything close to full speed. This single screen method would bypass that problem entirely by just running the emulator on one DS and only using the other as a controller. |

So it is possible by using the method in Kirby Super Star Ultra? _________________ I may not eat meat, but I have no "beef" with those who do. |

Sure, why not? You're already emulating the system, all you'd need for 2 player is a second controller input.
As you said though, homebrew wireless isn't exactly bug free. It's also possible that the wireless connection would have a significant cost in memory or processor time. This wouldn't be a magically easy "drop it in and everthing works" kind of solution. |

Slow wireless is slow. Even if the second DS is just a controller, there'll certainly be a lag in the wireless, especially if it's homebrew. While KSSU didn't have a noticeable lag, HAL had access to a devkit, which Lordus does not. _________________ My Rig:
