NES DS hasn't been updated in a LOOOOOOOOONG time, I doubt any new features will be added soon.
This would be a good feature for the still-updated PocketNES, though. _________________ My Rig:

I'm pretty sure PocketNES has had Vs. support for friggin' ages. Possibly long enough for it to be in nesDS. Tapping Start adds credits; it has to be a tap, not a hold. Select to play. _________________ I've got nothing to say, but it's OK.

PocketNES had VS SMB support but I don't think it had support for any other ones.
The person who did NES DS probably removed the patch.
The Mike Tyson patch is gone too. _________________ Flash Cards

1. GOOD GOD PLEASE USE PUNCTUATION. It's nearly impossible to read your posts.
2. The savestates used by the DLDI version of PocketNES seem to be identical (or at least compatible) with NES DS savestates. If this version of PocketNES supports the game, then creating a savestate with PocketNES so you can bypass the startup portion in NES DS wouldn't be entirely out of the question. |

Maybe PocketNES might load NESDS savestates (never tried this, but I might have left the old format state loader code in the GBAMP versions), but I don't think the reverse is true. _________________ Here come the fortune cookies! Here come the fortune cookies!

Well, I've got my DS with me right now, let's do a test or two.
...and PocketNES is not liking my "Games" directory again, so I can't get to my NES roms. Oh joyness.
EDIT: Hm, neither program's savestates are compatible with the other's. I don't know where I got that idea in my head in the first place. My bad. |

Savestates intercompatible between games? Who'da thunk it?
Won't that cause glitches at some point in the game? _________________ My Rig:
