Download the superdat here, and read what's new here.
I will be updating the SNESAdvance.org site now that Vampire Hunter D is leaving, superdat updates will be posted there from now on.
The superdat can be used to add all memory values&speed hacks simply by overwriting the default snesadvance.dat with
the one in the zip file.
From now on, all credits etc will be in the superdat.txt included with the superdat.
With well over 200 games in the superdat, this post was getting out of hand.
Hacks labeled "Speed Hacks" speed up emulation; those labeled "Fixes" allow games that normally wouldn't to
run; and background fixes correct (some) graphics errors.
NOTE: Just because a game is fixed doesn't mean it's playable, that just means it doesn't freeze/crash.
If want a game to be fixed first try the tutorials. It's easy!
You can post requests for individual games in this thread, which *may* be fixed at our growing hacker community's leisure .
Please check to see if your game has already been fixed before requesting, and *don't* bug loopy asking for features to be
added, or when the next version will be out. Also chech Koji's list of games that use unemulated chips and can't be fixed at http://www.pocketheaven.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=48. _________________ She said 'I'll make him smile because he needs it;

Mind doing a bit of work on a few others? I just found multiple new titles working and have posted images of them and a mention on the webpage.
It appears we got working copies for Street Fighter 2, Samurai Shodown, Popn Twinbee, Parodius, Ultraman, and Final Fight.
Oddly enough across all things I think once the background priorities are taken care of we'll see a nice big cleanup of missing gfx as it appears some people put larger sprites as moving backgrounds or something as seen in the Parodius shot I did with the kitty ship missing its body. |

I worked on Final Fight for a while, got a hack... and it disables all input. This is a little bit trickier than finding memory addresses using a cheat function. _________________ She said 'I'll make him smile because he needs it;

I'll see what I can come up with... I'm guessing there's no FPS limitng at the moment (who'd have thought we'd need it yet?) Since I chopped off the majority of the VBLANK cycle, I could probably slow it down by putting an empty loop there or something... I'm reading up on ASM, so I might not do anything for a little while. _________________ She said 'I'll make him smile because he needs it;

After doing all these hacks there is one thing that is REALLY annoying me and i believe loopy can change this easily. In the snesadvance.dat file you have the CRC as first, which makes them organize by CRC instead of Name. If you could make it so that the file was in alphabetical order for the game name it would be much better and easier to find what your looking for in that file.
PS: sephiroth2k add mine to the list |

sephiroth2k: maybe you should zip pack the superdat (which is a great idea btw ) because right now the .dat extension makes the mime type binary and all the line breaks get munged. I'm not sure this actually affects snesadvance's use of it, but it makes it a lot harder to read the file. _________________ releases.pocketheaven.com
