| Second problem is fixable, the first problem with the rom appearing twice isn't a problem. It's supposed to appear twice, one is a Size Strip. |

Aha, couldn't see that in the rom name.
And the other shouldn't indeed be a gigantic problem, but it's a small bug
Just sharing experiences |

First of all, GREAT program. I love it. However, I just ran across a problem, and I'm not too sure how to recreate it.
After scanning and having a complete set of GBC, 7 in my NDS list, and 1 missing from my GBA list, I closed the program and waited awhile.
After opening it again, it froze on the loading section. So I tried it again, and it ended up doing that a total of 3 times. When I finally got back into it, it had decided not to read from my Have/Miss lists for GBC or NDS.
EDIT: Looking back in this, I am looking at my GBC Have/Miss lists in text format, and they are correct, it just seems that the program isn't reading them atm. I'm not entirely sure which option will allow me to re-read and update from my lists. As one is Write (which I would assume to write over the ones I already have) and the other is Reset, which I am assuming will reset my list to none have)
EDIT: Just read the site referring to this bug, plz ignore.

Nintenren doesn't read which files you have/miss from those lists. It keeps another set specifically for that purpose. I will be (hopefully) fixing this problem in the next update. Sorry about that.

In my gba list there is an 1698 (F), a 1016 (N) and a 1296 (G) rom listed in my list and I have it set to only show US roms (All others are excluded). Its a small annoyance, but I thought I'd report it.
Fantastic job on the renamer!!! I love it.
Oh yea... The GBC renaming is hosed... But that's a biggie... It renamed MOST of my roms to (I) and tho I have it set to exclude all but US roms as well, there are hundreds of obvious foreign roms in the listing...
Below is a sample of my Have list...
0283 - Mission - Impossible (I)(Menace)
0287 - Tonka Raceway (I)(Eurasia)
0288 - Mickey's Racing Adventure (I)(Menace)
0289 - Bomberman Quest (I)(Menace)
0290 - Turok - Rage Wars (I)(Menace)
0291 - Survival Kids (I)(KEL_)
0293 - Ms. Pac-Man SCE (I)(GameBoy Lamers)
0295 - Pumuckl's Abenteuer bei den Piraten (I)(Menace)
0296 - Babe and Friends (I)(Menace)
0297 - Marble Madness (I)(Menace)
0298 - Puzzle Master (I)(Menace)
0300 - Godzilla - The Series (I)(Menace)
0302 - Barbie Meeresabenteuer (I)(High Society)
0304 - Pac-Man SCE (I)(High Society)
0305 - Stranded Kids (I)(Nintendo Backup Crew)
0306 - Star Wars Episode I Racer (I)(Menace)
0307 - NBA 3 on 3 featuring Kobe Bryant (I)(Menace)
0308 - Game and Watch Gallery 3 (I)(Menace)
0310 - NFL BLitz 2000 (I)(Menace)
0311 - Deja Vu I+II (I)(Menace)

I have to admit, I didn't read through all three pages, but I assume they're mostly older bugs.
Anyway, I ran into a small bug. I didn't set my GBA renaming to go into Folders, so it copied all the files over into the directory and let them be. Then, I changed the setting to have it move ROMs into sorted directories and had it rescan the folder. It found all the ROMs, but instead of moving them into the correct folders, it decided they were just where they were supposed to be, and didn't sort them at all.
I ended up moving them all to an outside folder and redoing the scan from there, which worked. But it's a small nuisance which would be nice to get rid of. |

0167 - Akachan wa Doko Kara Kuru no? (J)(Legacy) causes that error.
It's the first 1Gbit rom and it has a '?' in it's name. |

Why is a \CurrentUser\nintenren registry key created.
it does not seem to be used, and it's "dirty" to write directly under CurrentUser.
It's not a criticism, i just want to point out something that might be a mistake. |

As I often look for nintenren dat update i saw how the update are gotten by nintenren, my question is a proposition for improvement, not a bug at all.
It would be quicker and more efficient to look at the LastModified returned by a HTTP HEADER request than to relying on a file to store the update time in another file.
It would be lighter on the web server and on the nintenren client. |
