I've been wanting to do a run through on every game I've got and put up the results on the PH Wiki's Compatibility list for Snezzi DS but I am unsure of how it should be edited:
Under the Homebrew Method column, should I just append my cart name to the end of the list? (Perhaps we could have a new section with cart compatability on a per game level)
In the SnezziDS version column, should I only change the version if the game is more compatible with the newest version?
Under the Playable section should there be more strict guidelines on what can be written. (For example, only Yes, No, and Partial, nothing like "Partial (Graphical Glitches)") My idea for this is that it would make it more streamlined.
Also I had the idea to perhaps set up goto anchors when you click on the rom name. This would make it easier to find the related notes for specific games.. |

It's been discussed before, although without any real conclusion. I would suggest adding a new entry to the chart if compatibility is different for your hardware, but if compatibility is the same, just add a line break tag and add it to the same cell.

Right. In my opinion, the point of the list is to show which versions produce the most compatible game. If a new version breaks a game, keep the old version in the chart and mention it in the Additional Notes section for the game.

That's what I tried to do for the Snezziboy compatibility list whenever I updated it. However, I do not have anything to do with the SnezziDS list, so all I can say is that it is my personal preference. Some other people might like it the way it is.

That's actually a pretty good idea. If someone has the time to do that, it would look pretty good. The only issue is that the "table of contents" box at the beginning of the page would be pointless, so it would have to be suppressed somehow. |

Alright, just wanted to get someone with some standing to comment before I go ruining what all has been worked on.
I'm going to work on these things because I have no idea where to even start working on actual developmental shtuff and I'd really like to help with snezziDS as much as possible.
For the time being I'm going to leave other entries under the Playable section alone. If I get up the guts to add an anchoring goto system I'll modify them to be more streamlined. I'm going to try test every (E),(U) release game I've got (Which should be all of them) on the snezziDS .28 build with my G6 Lite. It's gonna take a while though cause I'm going to try to put comments at the bottom of the page on every entry.
I'll post updates as they come. |

I've tested all (U) [!] roms starting with the letter A, and 7th Saga. Any rom that appears to have become broken I will not update. It may just be a compatability issue with my G6 Lite. (BTW these are all With Sound tests using the .28a software)
7th Saga's compatability has improved and is definately playable now. Edited notes.
Addams Family, The (U) Appears to have been broken although it may be my flash cart.
Addams family Values (U) I've added to the list, it is not playable though.
Adventures of Kid Kleets, The (U) Added but BSOD
Aero the Acrobat (U) Appears to have been broken although it may be my flash cart. (it now freezes at the iguana entertainment sign)
Aerobiz (U) Was added to the list, it works essentially perfectly. Added Notes
Aladdin (U) Works just fine on the G6 same issues as with other carts in the .28 release (random black flashes, black sky) Updated notes
Alien 3 (U) Is broken on the G6 lite in this test. Starts but you cant enter game.
Andre Agassi Tennis (U) added BSOD though
Animaniacs (U) Works on the G6 Lite in .28a it's now playable updated notes.
Arcade's Greatest Hits (U) Added, it runs on the G6lite in .28a but it is only barely playable. I wouldn't say it's fun.
Araknoid - Doh it Again (U) Still works on the G6lite in .28a. I added notes.
Axelay (U) Still works on the G6lite .28a, updated notes though.
Ahhh Real Monsters (U) Added to the list, it works in .28a although it's a bit glitchy. Added notes.
ActRaiser (U) Crash on death is fixed in .28a!! Very playable. Edited notes.
ActRaiser 2 (U) Boots!! You can get in game, but only overhead mode. Upon entering the first town the game crashes though. Added notes.
AD&D - Eye of the Beholder (U) Added but, BSOD
These aren't actually added to the wiki yet, I'm in the process of adding them. I'd love you to test them on your hardware and see if I'm just getting bogus results. Enjoy! |

I think a compatibility list like this would be MUCH more useful:
http://rothmans.joskeonline.com/supercardsite/
as you don't have to register, and I can't seem to update the wiki anyway. |

I've added listings for Aerobiz, Aerobiz Supersonic, & Desert Strike to the wiki compatibility listing here at pocketheaven. Also updated Battletoads - Battlemaniacs with new version of emulator.
I am quite new to editing wiki's in general and if I screwed up royally please let me know. I also am aware that the rom names are probably not the correct rom name... It's getting late, I'll run my roms against the database that corrects the name and update it tomorrow. Sorry again for my terrible wiki skills.
I'm going to make it a point to try to add about 5 games a night until I go nuts. If anybody has any suggestions or guidelines to follow I would greatly appreciate it. |
